Default Side Air Bags a Must!!!

I am sitting here tonight writing this because I had side airbags on my cruiser. One week I was T-Boned in the drivers side by a red light running Semi-Truck going 40-45 mph.
I got out of it without a single broken bone or spinal/neck injury. Everyone who sees the car, or what little is left of it say's it's a miracle that I am still alive.
Get those air bags, they are worth every penny.

Any one know where I can get a Black Limited Edition 2001

Glad to hear you came out okay, but sad to hear about the PT!

Any chance on getting some pictures of the wrecked PT posted, so we can see what you're talking about (I know it might be too painful to do).

Really glad your ok !! There are a lot of cruisers on the lots -- I would start contacting some dealers.
Good luck finding your NEW - Cruiser.
I see one of the local dealers here with a White and a Cranberry Limited ! Next time I pass I'll look for a Black !

You are living proof that the most important part of a PT is what's inside it.
I am not a great fan of front airbags; too many people think the bags mean they
really don't have to wear their belts. (I believe in seat/lap belts, after hitting
a cow head-on many years ago). There's often a second or third collision
within milliseconds of the first and I like to see where I'm going, instead of
being stunned by a bag in the face. But I do think the side impact bags make a lot
of sense.
I am glad you are alright. Where are you located?
We're seeing more and more Cruisers on dealer lots here in central Kansas.

"It's better to be safe than sorry". Well, I guess you just proved that point, huh? Homey likes air bags.

Whoa Nelly! Glad you're OK. We put our money in the safety gear--bags, brakes. Hope I never need them. Guess the crash tests were right in that respect, did OK in side tests. Happy I got them. Good luck in your quest, and let us know how your insurance company does by you!

Glad that you're alive. This sounds like good reason that side airbags shouldn't be optional but rather standard equipment.
