Default Sheena Where is it now

Have you been tracking yours on line? Mine is now in Santa Barbara CA and is supposed to be off loaded on the 6th at DC yard in Benicia. Then wait for Hadley to truck it back down to Dinuba. Tracked it from Toluca to CA on UPRR great tracking system very up to date. On pins and needles. I WANT IT YESTERDAY

Lots of us have shared your excitement of tracking our Cruisers across the Country. I had a map on the wall and put in push pins every day to keep track of progress. This will be the hardest part. Waiting for you PT to land at your dealer !
Good Luck !!!!

Hey REO, you should be ecstatic that it's only taking this long. You ought to ask some of others about our 9 months + waits for the early ones!

Believe me, it's well worth the wait for these babies. Let us all know when the "birth" takes place!

Hey Cruising, when I first started reading the posts on this board I was scared to death, from the horror stories I read about the amount of time some of you old timers waited I knew that I would have a heart attack if I had to wait that long, but thanks to you and the other cruisers DC made some changes and things are going a lot faster now.

Thanks a lot.

REO, mine is listed at Valjct, IL 09/04/01 21:11. It's been there since 8:30, so I haven't a clue what this is about. It is just now 21:11. I also have no clue who or what a Valjct, IL is. It isn't any place I've ever heard of. You should see the doofy maps I've collected and hidden away on a web page to show its progress. I'm obsessed, I tell ya.

Where is yours now?
Isn't this agony?

I didn't even try to track mine and I think I liked that better. I was told to expect at least a 6-9 month wait and one day out of the blue the dealer called and said "It's Here!!" What a suprise and how excited I was! I only had to wait three months!!

I found it. It is 6 miles from the rail yard where it will be picked up and taken to the dealer. I still can't find out how long it will sit there before it is trucked over. I guess we'll find out soon.

Glad you found yours

Just checked (Oakland, CA 09/05/01 01:35) and mine is 35 miles from unloading and waiting for truck transport. Keep us informed will do the same. Now for a pot of coffee and a dozen Prozacs.

Soon, REO. Very soon.

I read an article this week that described how Chrysler is working very hard to cut down on transport time. I think it is working!

I dropped off a "do and don't" list yesterday. Work knows to expect me to go flying out of there when I get the call. Hubby is taking his driving test today. wheee! *crosses self* I think I'll need decaf the rest of the week.

Do you have any special plans for the drive home from the dealer? Got the camera ready?
