Just checked (Oakland, CA 09/05/01 01:35) and mine is 35 miles from unloading and waiting for truck transport. Keep us informed will do the same. Now for a pot of coffee and a dozen Prozacs.
Soon, REO. Very soon.

I read an article this week that described how Chrysler is working very hard to cut down on transport time. I think it is working!

I dropped off a "do and don't" list yesterday. Work knows to expect me to go flying out of there when I get the call. Hubby is taking his driving test today. wheee! *crosses self* I think I'll need decaf the rest of the week.

Do you have any special plans for the drive home from the dealer? Got the camera ready?
Camera is ready, shmbo (she who must be obeyed) is selecting cd's after we get her home we are going down south to Sun City to surprise my Sis, she is the one that first introduced me to the PT back when they first came out, (reminded us of Dads first new car a 1936 ford sedan)she is going to have a stroke when she finds out we bought one. Will keep fingers crossed for your Hubby and his test.

I found it. It is 6 miles from the rail yard where it will be picked up and taken to the dealer. I still can't find out how long it will sit there before it is trucked over. I guess we'll find out soon.
Mine sat there for a week before it was loaded onto a truck. Hopefully your's will not take that long to hitch a ride to the dealer.

Haven't seen any train tracking posts in quite a while. Congratulations, you're almost cruisin'.

Just to be goofy-is "shmbo" going to to pick any REO tunes? I recommend REO T.W.O., or the everpopular TUNAFISH album. Isn't it time for me to fly and you to start blazin' your own trail again? (Sorry, I work too close to REO SPEEDWAGON way).

I want it BAD!

Patience is not a virtue which I enjoy. It will get here soon, I know, but I'm really itching to have it home with me. How are you coping? You seem so calm!

Remember guys and gals, READ the Dean's List and Dingo's Prep List so you know what to expect...

Things to bring- Cruising Tunes, SunGlasses, Toothpaste (you WILL be smiling all the way home, make sure the pearly-whites are clean...)

Remember to tell your dealer "NO DEALER STICKER ON THE REAR HATCH PLEASE".

Save your window sticker.

(use the menu, top left for more reading material.... read this one for sure.)

Both must reads. However, when you tell them to save your window sticker, make sure you also tell them not to fold it! I ahve mine laminated but you can still see the fold lines. Can't wait to hear about your first cruises!
