Default She peed

Thanks to whoever posted the idea of drilling a hole in the area below the gas cap. The factory drain slot is way too high, resulting in a pool of water in there after rain, and especially after washing. Well, drilled a hole yesterday, and after cleaning out the debris with a magnet, poured a cup of water in there and VOILA! She peed it all out behind the rear wheel!!!!!! Another good tip from reading these forums.

be sure to paint the hole edges with Tremclad or something like that. Avoid the rusties.

Aaahhh,.....my moment of fame.
Please, don't send me a sample of your PT-pee.

It's been quite a while since I first posted my fix to the water problem. Glad to see that it's still floating around here.

Working with computers and networks all day, I'm surrounded by IP, PPP, and PPTP, but this is the first I've heard of PTPP.

I too, thought this was something different. I some times find water under Seven but it's at the front of the car about half way back near engine block. This is with iut the air running. Dealer says it's Condensation.
