Default Seat Confort

How would you rate the seat confort in the PT?(Scale1-10) I did not order the limited edition so was unable to secure the heated lumbar seat. I'm 6'3" and do have some back disconfort.

I have an "F" model, which has the base cloth seats and no lumbar adjustment.

However, the lumbar support of the seat is very good, so the adjustment isn't necessary. Also the height adjustment of the ltd seats isn't necessary for a tall person, since the seat height is good for me (I'm 6ft 2"). My wife finds them a bit high though, and has trouble reaching the pedals with her shorter legs.

I'm very picky about seats in cars, and won't drive some rental cars (like the Cavalier) because the seats hurt my back. The PT seats are very good for back comfort. Some may find them a bit stiff at first, but they're great once you get used to them.

When I first got the PT, I thought the seats could have had a deeper shape to hold you better during cornering, but I've got used to that too now, and find the seats suit me just fine all around.

I also am 6 ft., 2" tall, but my wife is about 5 ft. 2" so the adjustable seat is almost manadatory. We got the heated/lumbar adjustable option, and it is great.
I have been driving compact company cars for the last 15 years or so, and have developed some back problems as a result of some of the cheap seating; Dodge Aspen and Pontiac T-2000 were teh worst, followed by Ford Tempos and Escorts; currently have a Pontiac Sunfire, which has pretty good seats, but still have to use a foam wedge to support lower back.
Some people have complained about Cruisers' "hard" seats, but that is about the best thing for my back problem, especially when you turn on the toaster, too.

I would rate them at an 8. They are quite good at support and posture. I'm 76 inches tall and due to an *huge* accident I'm missing some lower back bits and pieces (among other things). I find sitting difficult enough and sitting in a poor seat for an hour can rack me up for days. I've had no discomfort whatsoever from the seats. I'm not even able to fold into Hondas, Cavaliers, Escorts, et al, so I can't compare to those seats. The PT seat compares well to a good van seat, but a top 'o line RV seat is better. (Hence the 8 rating)

Just came back from a 2000 mile trip to Orlando and my wife and I found the seats confortable, but I'm still planning to put in the custom arm rest for both of us. Only thing is with the moon roof, I have no head room with the seat all the way down. I'm 6' 3" but the majority of my height is in the torso - short legs.

I have the cloth seats and I find them comfortable at 5ft 4" for long driving they are a bit too stiff at first, but they break in just fine, I like the back support they have.

I also have the cloth seats, with height adjuster. You sit differently in the PT. While I feel pressure on the butt bones, I have no back fatigue at all. Much better than my 83 Accord, which I can only drive for an hour before having to put a pillow behind me.

I am 6' 2" and had back surgery last year, so I was concerned about buying a PT without a test drive. I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort and support of the LTD's seats with the lumbar support. I would rate them a 9 out of 10.

My only complaint is that I have to duck down to see traffic lights if I'm the first one in line.

I Am Currently 6 ft 5" and I rated this seat 10 because its very comfortable to me, and I never had any back problems at all lately. Im glad I got this cruiser because I find this car is soo roomy and big enough for tall people.
