"THE SEATS SUCK"

I got an early limited/leather model. Seats are less comfortable that my other vehicles - Caravan, Grand Marquis, LeSabre, Corvette. Hope they're better with Lumbar support.

In cold weather (below zero) they are like concrete.

I'm 6'1", and I don't have back problems, but I've got 18,000+ miles on my car so far and I'm in it at least a couple hours a day. Sometimes when I run out of steam I pull over, recline the seat, and have a nap.

I've never felt the slightest discomfort. As far as I am concerned, they are as good as any and better than most.

Don't know how tall you are, Bogartfan, but I'm 5' 6 1/2". The power height adjustment lets tilt forward to put more weight on my feet, less on my back. I got cloth seats because I slipped around too much on the leather, and I think I was a vegetarian when I ordered 6 year, er...months ago. The cloth held me better in turns, again taking some of the strain off my back. There are aftermarket back pads (heated, vibrating, you name it), and drugstores have them with 12v adaptors for about $39.00.

This is the first post I've seen of Daryl's in months. Has he, all this time, scanned through the posts until he finally found a PT feature he could torch? Time will tell.
