I have found that 'aiming' it does not help any thing. The fob does not have a directional array . The skull will act like a satalite dish and make it directional.

Some cars had infrared remoted and you did have to aim it at the windshield. but thoes are no longer in use. Jeep was the last to use them.

I allways chuckle when i see people try to 'throw' the signal to the car by thrusting the remote at the car as they press the button.
