Had my PT GT almost 3 weeks now. Dealer filled it with 87 octane when purchased. :-(
I put 91 in it my first time and could tell a difference within a few miles. More pep. The next fill I tried 89 octane. Couldn't tell a difference from the 91 octane. Hot weather is when knocking and pinging get bad so 91 octane may be needed in summer. Till then I will use 89. As far as brand goes, whatever works out best for you. |

We use Sunoco most of the time, it's usually the cheapest by five cent's , besides I get a retiree discount. But if I can I'll use Clark .The have the best gas around.
