My clutch made clicking noises for a space of about 5 minutes a few months back. Sounded definitely like they were coming from a linkage. While it was making this noise, it was also noticably easier to depress. I've didn't figure out what it was, and it hasn't happened since. The clutch worked fine even when it was making the noise. If your is happening constantly, take it in and get it checked out. I'd like to know what the problem is, just in case it happens again for me.

About the water... were you running the A/C?

Hey MBN,
I too have the 5 speed, just over 2k miles.
Although I haven't had any problems.
Would like you too keep us posted, Were a different breed, Manual vs Auto, so it affect us when one of our own fails. Best place would probably be the dealer, good way for you to see how the service dept. works.
And don't let the women thing bother you, get everything in writing, evething today is computer generated, so you'll can read it.
You'll come out of this Ok!
