If you are referring to the Mercedes diesel that they are thinking about putting in the PT...

I would imagine, given the European market's acceptance of Diesel passenger cars (much more so than the US) would likely make this a non-US offering only.

But, until they make an announcement, who knows?

Tonight, I noticed they mentioned new standards in the USA for diesel engines. I suppose, this means further incentives not to go diesel in the USA. I hope not.

Also, in the above article, they mentioned they hired some Ford execs. Remmeber, Ford did a much better job, of high production for thier new Focus in the last two years.

Maybe they will push, for more appropriate, higher, production on the PT.

Ford certainly knew how to start the mustang in 1965. With triple the first year production of the mustang, versus the first year production of the PT. With end demand, for both, about the same.

At Edmunds, they ahve a new video of the Chicago Auto show. Anyone have a video capability on their computer? If so, so there, and fill us in, if anything is there on the PT. Thanks.

Here in Canada the gas prices are at an all time high, it would be nice to have a fuel option!
