Default PT Prowlin'

I don't know if you've seen this one yet.

I know a PT would have a hard time pulling a Prowler, but it's still a cool diecast from Maisto to add to the collection. The side of the Cruiser has "PT Prowlin'" on the sides. (Too bad they didn't have it in Inferno Red!)

My dealer has a Prowler in their showroom. I told my wife that it would look good next to the PT in the garage. Needless to say, that's not going to happen any time soon! :/

Hey, the PT would have a tough time just pulling the trailer, much less with a Prowler on it. I saw a post on this toy awhile back, then found it at the local Wally Mart. Cool thing is, if you get one of the other Maistos in the same scale, you can change out the "hitch" and mix your colors.

Actually I'm thinking of taking one of my red 1/18th scale diecasts and using it to prototype what I want to do to my real PT. Then I'll apply vinyls to it too for the full effect.

BTW - Sean, I haven't forgotten about sending you your dash flames. |-)

I did that with those plastic Revell models- bought 2, painted both blue, left one model stock, then on the other, flames, lowered, painted bumpers, ... just to see what the effect was before doing it for real!!

P.S.- do you have flames fo go on the hatch beside the "Limited Edition" emblem (or Touring Edition just to be fair)??

I'm bringing a duo set to the Falls for PT_Sean to give away.

On my own pair (not the one I'm giving away) I put flames from the Revell plastic models on both the PT Cruiser and the Prowler.

I have finished painting my Revell model to match the way I want to paint BOB. Will now do the 1:18 to get a bigger mock up. Will post a pic as soon as I can borrow a digital camera.
