Default PT MANNERS

On my way home from work today, 2 PT's coming in the opposite direction past me. Without a doubt, I threw my hand up and waved~~but atlas, no wave to me!!! Perhaps, they just didn't see me. I will continue to greet other PT"S with a big wave; knowing just seeing a great car on the road brings a smile to me!!!

Betty, here's what works for me. You spot the other PT, flash your lights once or twice to catch their attention. This gives them a chance to ID a fellow PT. Then wave as you go past. Try it. :-D

I had the same problem - I thought they were being stuck up - I'll try the 'flash the headlights' instead of beeping or waving.

Hey Betty! Here's a virtual pass for you!

Cruising down the road in Simpsonville ... spot Betty's car heading other way ... flash of fog lights ... light touch on the horn ... "Beep, beep" ... wave hand ... "Hi Betty! Nice PT!" ... thumbs up ... cruise back to SD.

Hey Betty in Simpsonville, Kentucky!!! Thumbs up!!!!!!! GO CATS!!! I might be Catholic, but the Holy Cross team is going down tomorrow at 12:20pm. Be there to watch it!

I will wave, do handstands, flip the lights. even trip the light fantastic if you want because I will always wave to a fellow PT Person, especially from our Grand Commonwealth!

I might even try to have a Cruise-In in the late spring or early summer up here in Northern Kentucky. I am just waiting for a friend of mine to get his that he ordered in early April last year. It is truely hard to see someone wait that long for our beloved car. Let me know if you want to go.

Keep Cruisin'!!!!!!!!

I am having the same problem. Everyday when I am going home from work, I pass another cranberry heading the opposite direction and they never acknowledge me-never. I wave, I flash lights, I have even honked and still nothing. Some people don't know the proper PT manners.

I think some people are just out of it when they drive. If you ever pass me, I'll be sure to wave to ya.

Had fun yesterday driving behind a silver PT. I was in another vehicle, not my PT. Boy, was it great to watch it go down the road. Nice signal lights, third brake light. You get the picture. I never get to see what I look like from behind so it was kinda fun.

Have you thought about getting one of those
big foam hands. You could have,
"Hey you in the PT, wave already"
printed on it.

Or you could just blink your lights.
Your call.

Not to stereotype business men (I'm a young one myself), but I was stopped at a light in my midnight cruiser when a cranberry fella with 4 men in suits cruises up next to me and stops in its place in line. As I normally do when I see a Cruiser, I get all excited and wave...no response...so I honk...no response...'WHAT THE HELL'...so I honk a second time, and finally, a guy in the BACK SEAT waves ever so slightly...
totally insane...whatever!!!
