Default PT Mailbox?!

I finally found the 1:16 PT Cruiser toys and the good news is that they are easy to disasemble!

For all those who want to try out your paint/graphic schemes - get a 1:16! I bought two at KB Toys (on sale for $16.99) and I'm going to paint both of them cranberry. Then I'm going to try out my stripe idea on one (hopefully that will convince the wife) and the other one I'm going to turn into a mailbox. It may not be a legal mailbox but I'm going to give it a try. I got the idea from a guy who restores old cars - he had an panel wagon-shaped mailbox. I hope to have it finished in time to bring to the Falls.

CranDan, I had a friend obtain the spray DC paint, and apply it to a standard box. The graphics were acquired from the StreamlineDesigns site. It was covered with Carnuba wax, and looks unreal! It's inexpensive and quite impressive. he got the idea from Tim Allen's 57 Chevy on Home Improvement.
