I do like the leather, but a word of warning. I noticed that the leather on my wife's '02 is not of the same quality as on my '01. On the '02 the leather is thinner and more prone to creasing. My '01 seats with many more "Butt Miles" on them still look almost new.

I got cloth seats on my PT.. I have two cats and one rides in the backseat with just a seatbelt and I know around turns he digs his claws into the seat, so cloth you just brush the seat and the holes are gone...

I still have horrid memories of burns on the backs of my legs from shorts and sunheated leather seats...

My reasons for cloth seats yours may differ....

If you get a GT.. I test drove a GT Turbo with Cloth and the Cloth seat felt very comfortable and keeps you from sliding down.

Like that never happend to me when I have lether.. but I did slide on my seat when I first got it

So.. Either is good.

The Leather seat on the GT Looks alot the same as the 01-02 PT's but in a different tone of color.

The Cloth Has mixed colors. Looks Nice.

Too hot down here for me and leather seats to be good friends. The first time you come trotting off the beach on a summer day and hop into your Cruiser with leather interior...well, a great deal of harsh invective will ensue!!!

'sides, the cloth looks nice and seems more comfortable to me!

The little swede piece is there to help prevent that ....

2 of the 3 negative things about leather seats aren't quite so bad here in the mid section of the country......they aren't too brutal in the summer , and the heated seats help diminish the chill of leather in the winter.....The third problem.....trying to keep your bum in the seat as BULLY takes a corner on two wheels ......is half the fun!!!!
