Default PT Dinosaur..........

Okay,
We've touched base on how long you waited.....Stick or auto.....even colors.

Am I being reduntant if I want to know how long you've had your car?
That was answered, to a point, with the people who answered how long they waited for their car and listed when they took delivery.
But, I just don't want to do the math!
Also, did you get the car when you "thought" you would? Did this site make the wait less painful? It did for me.....

We've had our Cruiser for about 4-1/2 mos. now, averaging about a thousand miles a month.
Our dealer thought it would take 6-8 mos. to receive it; it was not quite 9 mos.
But, as everybody says, well worth the wait.

Great!
This site, and others, were helpful in both the decision making process (which to order, where to order) and in understanding the wait.

I've only had mine 3 weeks ! We found one on the other side of the state that was almost exactly what we were looking for so we only had to wait 3 days. The only downside is that the sunroof is aftermarket so we didn't get the overhead console. On the upside we did get a double stripe that we weren't anticipating...

Cranbaby has been with me for 6 months and 10 days. When I ordered in March/00, I was told late May, early June. Then I insisted on the 5 spd. Welcome to material restriction. Late July, early August. What's that? You have Touring? Well, you can have your 5 spd now, but we have a restriction on the suspension package. By the end of August for sure. Oh, wait! There's a material restriction on leather. I know you didn't order leather, but they have you grouped in with that restriction, so you should get it by Christmas.
August came, she was built in September and shipped. She landed on Canadian soil on September 25th in Agincourt. There she sat for 3 weeks before a truck picked her up and took her to the dealer.
During that time, my parents drove me crazy. (Friends didn't because they didn't know I ordered it.) This site was a forum to vent, complain, share, experience and enjoy.

I waited only two months for delivery becauseI I ordered from out of state from a dealer with a large allocation.

I have had "Jezebel" for 3 months and she has 4000 + miles. I drive her every day and I really love this car.

This site helped me know what to check for when I picked her up and how to take care of her. My husband is amazed at how much I know about this car. :-}

We waited exactly 7 months and have now had "Seven" for 4months and 1 week. NO problems at all except for all the time we spend polishing and dusting her. I love every moment !!!

My aqua still receives many favourable comments and looks and I still get compliments daily. Trying to keep it pretty well stock, but, I have added a few small things to "Make it Mine "
