Amongst other things, I'm a Morris Minor enthusiast too, and over the last month of PT ownership I've noticed a few similarities between the two vehicles.
![]() Take a look at my website for a comparison. Minor Mania! Look for the Cruiser grill thumbnail and the link to 'The New Morris Minor?'

There's tons of pics and info on Minor Mania for all the Minor variants, so get your friend to take a look and get back to me with any specific questions. I'm happy to help if I can. I just realised that the shape of the air-bag on the passenger side of the PT is almost the same shape as the glovebox door on the Minor! Spooky! I'll post pics when I find some on my laptop at home ![]()

Our PT shares garage space with a 1959 Morris Minor panel hot rod project. It sits on an Isuzu P'up frame and has Buick 3.8L V-6 engine. Might never get finished though! Too busy playing with other "toys"! The resemblance of some of the styling cues is uncanny! I have also written a few articles on US Morris Minors for Minor Monthly magazine (UK).
