i would like to take mine to the strip just to see what it does.....unlesss you can tell me.
what is the best RPM to line lock it at just before the green lite and is it better to leave it in drive or autostick it? if shifting it what is the best RPM to shift at?

They dont make a line lock for the PT trans yet.
A line lock puts the trans in first and reverse at the same time so you get no movement. Then when you release the button it releases reverse and away you go!

Drive to auto stick will require a day at the test and tuse day at the track. An automatic transmision will usualy shift at redline if the throtle is in the wide open position. if you need to short shift it( shifting before the trans would on its own) Then use the auto stick.

And as for the shiftpoint, it will change with the weight of the car and what is in it( your weight, are the back seats in or out, Full tank or mostly empty, and so on. Shift points are determined by the torq curve and the weight of the car will determin whare in that curve you need to be when you shift to the next gear.

I used to race a pro street blazer. I could short shift it and chirp the tires (29x12.5)in each gear. but it was not the fastest point on the curve. I had the torque to chirp but not gain the most speed.

Leaving it in autostick without shifting would result in it shifting at 5800 RPMs. I'm told it's the best way to push the turbo hard like that, so I'd try putting it in autostick and leaving it there.
