Default The bad news and the good news

Bad news:

I hit a pot hole and bent one of my rims

Good news:

I ordered these:
http://www.petepaulsen.com/Catalogofwheels/PT.HTM
Pete Paulsen says it will take a week to make them
and he'll ship them out.

In the meantime I have a lumpy wheel and a
slow leak. sigh

Sorry to hear about the pot hole, but I like the new rims. Oh, I hear they make medications now for those slow leaks.

Too bad about the bent wheel, but if it leads to a nice upgrade like those Smoothies, it isn't all bad.

Cool choice Woog. I know the waiting is hard, but you can put up with a slow leak for a couple of weeks, can't you??? Very sharp smoothies!!!

Update:

A few weeks ago someone backed into
the rear of my PT. Well, State Farm is
finally going pay me. They are sending
a check for $743. I'll replace the cracked
lense and could this be chrome bumper
cover money? Hmmmmm?

Last month I blew out a tire in a pothole and bent a rim. What a bummer
