Default Euro-matching U.S. Cruiser - Literally

I'm not talking about the 'Euro' style aftermarket lights or any of that stuff. I'm just wondering if anyone has found info on how to literally bring some of the pieces of a European Cruiser onto a U.S. Cruiser? I'm specifically looking for the side-marker lights that flash with the turn signals? How would one install them, and where can they be obtained?

The other is more difficult, apparently, but more of a Canadian spec than Euro... I love the look of the bright yellow DRL's used in Canada. How in the world can one convince a Cruiser to do this? Do I do a little dance? Do I have to bribe it? These are two features that I really like, and think would be beneficial.

Any clues, dudes and dudettes?

DRL? I've seen side driving lights but not used as signals...don't know much about them though. Raegan's two-tone has the side driving lights...they're cool.

DRL = Daytime Running Lights

They are essentially the turn signal lights (front only) left on at full intensity (without flashing, of course.) Regular parking lights are dim in comparison.

I can get them through my dealership here. I had the part # and price a while back but can't find it now. You can see the inside of the side indicators when you open the front doors right up. I'll get some pics, part #'s and prices tomorrow.

What about our Euro (read Oz) headlight assembly? We get clear lenses with a yellow bulb for the indicator. Let me know if you want pics of that too......

Hey there, Wendy...

Sure, pics would be terrific! Although it's getting too cold to do anything myself, it's not too early to find parts to do it with. haha The headlight pics would be interesting to see, although I don't think I would use them on my PT. Besides, yours would be mechanically different in the back, I would suspect.

Thanks, Wendy!

Actually, they are. Our headlights are height adjustable - 4 different height settings depending on how much weight you have in the back or how much you want to annoy the ass in front of you!!!

I doubt that Oz version of healights would be legal in USA, as those headlights are for RHD car.

Light pattern isn't symmetric. As when you're driving in road, side of lights that is in side of road , is longer. That's why people who bring cars here from England, have to go and get their headlights switched to make them streetlegal. If one drives with RHD lights in LHD traffic, light hits eyes of other drivers.

And in these Oz/european headlights those DRL are not yellow/amber like in canadian, but white like in this picture.
