Light pattern isn't symmetric. As when you're driving in road, side of lights that is in side of road , is longer. That's why people who bring cars here from England, have to go and get their headlights switched to make them streetlegal. If one drives with RHD lights in LHD traffic, light hits eyes of other drivers.
That's true. Both times I lived in England, I had to have the old Shelby Z's headlights adjusted for RHD roads, not to mention have yellow flashers installed in back. It's nothing to attempt lightly and I don't see the benefit.

But what the heck the fuel mileage can't make that much of a differance. Just put some of those gold/yellow driving lights in and drive with your driving lights on ! That is what is in mine and it looks great from the front ! With the head lights, Gold driving lights and the yellow w/w hood lights on ...
Really?? I'm still getting around 22 mpg with the headlights on... I'll have to do a little testing on this. I should check the effect of parking lights only while I'm at it.
