Believe patrika is correct. The headlight patterns and light cutoffs are different for a RHD. The light cutoff for a RHD would blind oncoming traffic if used in a LHD car. Typically, on the left side of the beam pattern, the cutoff is horizontal. On the right half of the beam pattern, the cutoff rises to the right at a 15 degree angle to illuminate road signs. The light pattern would be the opposite for a RHD car.

I have seen SIDE MARKER lights at various Flea Markets, and Custom shops in town.

Not 100% postive, but I think the Euro models have th lights CUT-IN to the metals, wheras the aftermarket ones mount ON TOP of the metal (small hole for the wires/threading to penetrate the metal then a retaining nut on the other side.

Wendy??

Like any other light on PT, there is hole in fender for it, not just sticked on like many aftermarket side lights

I found the part numbers on the PTDIY site. Only downside is that it doesn't make mention of the wiring to be used. To make it truly Chrysler quality looks like it would have to be done by a body shop to make the hole in the fender the right size. If possible.

I considered DRLs for my cruiser, but I found a cheaper alternative. Just cruise with your headlights on!

Just remember that if you drive with your lights on, it causes your alternator to work harder. That in turn will cause poor fuel mileage. That is why some alternators have two stage charging systems. They charge at a lower amperage, if it only needs it.

But what the heck the fuel mileage can't make that much of a differance. Just put some of those gold/yellow driving lights in and drive with your driving lights on ! That is what is in mine and it looks great from the front ! With the head lights, Gold driving lights and the yellow w/w hood lights on ...

Hmmmm! Inch by inch I find out more about these things. The big stumper is still the DRL's. Wondering if a scan tool can activate that feature by itself?
