I know two other guys who painted their bumpers and have already painter them twice already. Here's why; the textured bumber requires a flex type paint most body shops don't what to mess with them. I asked my dealer to do it when I had the front end on mine painter for repairs being done. They told me "No Way". However I did find a guy locally (Atlanta) they does paint them. This is what he told me. The bumpers have to be sanded down. even though they are plastic they can be sanded smooth. It takes longer to do but the paint stays on. I've see thee other PTs this guy did and they do look good. Actually I'm having my side mirrors done to match the car. $75.00 ea takes one day but man they look so good. Here's one he did his name is Jeff Collins.

Eddie, what an awesome picture. The cruiser looks identical to mine with the painted bumpers and I like the look of the painted mirrors. Mine are still black, but you may have convinced me to do more customizing. Although my dealer did my bumpers for free since they smashed up my bumper and quarter panel, I spoke to the body shop and they tell me that they will charge around $900 to do another job like mine since it is labor intensive to do the sanding and priming then painting and baking. My bumpers look great as in your picture and join the chorus of posters which urge to have it done right even though it may cost more. Thanks for making my day with your picture. :-D
