The dealer replaced one on my PT that had a couple of ugly spots on it, and he referred to them as 'appliques', giving me the impression that they stick on. If so, what are they covering? On the white , did they paint the appliques, or what's under them? My dealer looked up the TSB on these, and didn't give me any problem at all replacing it.

My dealership agreed to replace mine. I took Big Red out a week ago Saturday. After they had her for two hours a numb-nut looked in the box and realized they didn't have all the parts.

Big Red is having parts of her repainted this week (see other thread) and the dealership is supposed to send the posts over the the body shop for them to put on and save me another trip to the dealership. Of course I'll end up back at the dealership service dept anyway since they didn't get the squeak out of the driver's window when I took it out there last month. And now I am getting a noise out of the air-conditioner. Sounds as if something is caught in the fan blade; like a leaf or something.... But that's another story.
