Default New Ahooga mounting location

As promised, here are the pics...

My original horn was melting, PTOntario mounted his in a different location, I copied!

Here are the pics of the NEW location and NEW horn (JC Whitney). The wiring is STILL THE SAME AS PER the http://www.ptdoityourself.net site .

Sean,
Some of those pics (Automatic) look like my Cruiser. Did you take photos while we were working on it at your place on Saturday evening?

hi gentlemans!
this is a little advice for all of you with melted ahogas: why donīt you look for some one that could make a metal pėece same to the original plastic red piece on the horn,
i got a motor and base pieces from a yunk yard (almost for free) and explained to a metal crafstman (from a shop near from home)how to do the rest of the horn, i gave to him a few draws and scketches and the result was just perfect, it worth and was cheap,
i imagine that could be hard to find a real metal crafstman on some places but you can make a try...
suerte and have a good ahooooga!

I mounted mine behind the left front headlight area by removing the fender well liner, making a bracket and running the wiring from there. Grounded it at the mounting bracket and installed the control switch in the middle blank of the lower panel of the center console. Love the sound! And the reactions of people on the street!

If you want an Ahooga horn but can't install it yourself, who do you get to install it for you? A mechanic? A body shop?

Hey Sean,
Guess what......... still haven't finished installing the a'horn. Gina sez I'm trying to get into "Guinness" for PT- a'horn procrastinating!!!

Been busy w/work and cruisin'.... but actually I figure if I put this off long enough maybe C-gang could drive down this way for a weekend and finish up the job you started @ the "Falls"

See it's not procrastination no matter what Gina sez or what you think. It's part of my my "master plan" to get everyone to come to "Pittsburgh" that I started when you & Motor Mike put the a'horn button in my dash back in June.

We'll fire up the barbecue and the smoker....and even throw in some "Lays" for the Widow >>)

FYI..... Pens training camp starting soon.... we could check out #66. The rink is not far from where we live!!!
