Nope, Just wondering about the letter U.
I love Canadians-My Father, and his 14 siblings produced by my Grandmother, were Canadians. In Canada British (English) is taught and if you go south of the border (Mexico, Peru, etc) they also teach British (English). However here in the US we murder the language. I once received a letter from a parent of child that we hosted in our home from Mexico City. Quite frankly I had to dig out Websters Dictionary to translate the British (English}. And when my older son, at 15, spent his summer vacation in Lima, Peru he attended a Private British school. He is now vacations in England twice a year. So no, no war here just asking a question that I should know but sorry to say I don't. So have a HAPPY LABO(U)R DAY. Frank |
