Labor Day

I never go out on labor day. When I was 4, I burned my ankle with hot coffee on labor day. When I was 5, I broke my arm on labor day. When I was 6, I broke my finger on labor day. When I was 7, I had stitches in my chin on labor day. When I was 8, I broke my knee cap (don't ever DO that-it really hurts) on labor day. I will be veggin' on the couch labor day!

Many years ago, I used to avidly watch the Jerry Lewis Telethon, and then go somewhere with my Dad (who avoided EVERY intersection with change-collecting firefighters). Now, it's cut the grass, watch football and try to avoid change-collecting firefighters.
