Default Inferno Red paint for testing

For those that want to paint odds and ends or create some test sheets (like flames) to match your Inferno Red PT I found some "close" matching paint.

I needed to create some test sheets to try some flame color combos out but did not want to spend $20 for the DC inferno red paint. I found that the hobby paint from Testors color "Metalic Red" is very close. It may be just a little darker but its close enough for testing or other details that won't be sitting right on the body.

At $3-4 per can its a lot cheaper to experiment with and needs only a little clearcoat on it to match. Its also available everywhere hobby supplies are sold.

Im thinking of doing some license plate frames (with flames to match the car) and maybe the shift knob.

I will let you know the results.
