Default Inexpensive Tires?

I decided to buy some rims for my base PT with 15 inch wheels© First, I was just going to buy 15 inch rims because of my tire size© However, I found a great deal on the OEM 16 inch dimpled rims about two weeks ago and bought them dirt cheap© My family doesn't want me to spend any more money on the car© So, now I'm stuck with finding some very inexpensive 16 inch tires© What should I do? Please help!

Save your money until you can afford good tires. Remember, the tires are your ONLY contact with the road.

The only vehicle I'd put cheap tires on is my ex-wife's new boyfriends truck...

Turbo's right. All you need to do is go to Pep Boys for their $99-for-a-set-of-four tires, and then find out that they aren't able to handle the weight of the Cruiser. Tires are MUCH more than rubber and air, and you often get what you pay for. For your own sake, be patient with your great purchase and stash the rims in the garage for a while... until you can save-up the funds for safe tires.
