Default I need to learn stuff

You know what would be really cool? A "tech" day, like some of my friends in the Miata clubs do. (did you hear that MX-5?)

A bunch of us could get together somewhere and work on cars. The guru types could show us amateur weenies how to do some basic stuff. Share tools, info, stuff like that.

Hell, I'm still going to the dealer to have my oil changed for cryin' out loud! I just got the flameball and Kruzr shiftr I need to install.

I don't know.
I just thought it sounded like a good excuse to get together and stare at each others cars.

Suzy

HeySuz, until you get to attend one of the Cruises, or join up with a local group there's a site that can help a little:
http://www.ptdoityourself.net/
They can answer MANY questions and have pictures to help.

If you ever get to South Bend, I'll have a tech day for both Miatae and Cruisers.

The distance problem is best overcome through the information database at www.ptdoityourself.net
Problems, questions, and suggestions are all combined to make it the best free information site ever!

If you don't mind going back
to school (yikes!!!) see if
there's a night/weekend course
at your local high school
that'll teach you the basics,
oil change, rotate tires
properly, change spark plugs,
use jack stands safely etc.

That is very easy. Just follow the directions that came with it. The tools needed are included. It took me less than five minutes (mine isn't lighted--that is much more difficult). It is one of the best additions I made to my Cruiser. Enjoy the cruise.

Its been said- http://www.ptdoityourself.net , under GUIDES.

I have posted a few things there (ahoooooga)- I will soon post a DIY oil change guide. That is the best site since most of us, although it appears that we are only 12 inches away in cyberspace, are actually 1,000's of miles, er, kilometers apart, eh?

PARS! Did you meet Kevin and Tarsi from Brampton in the Falls? (cranberry, flames, ...)?? They were in MI for a week- they called tonite to tell me they FOUND some pt stuff, just for me!! See Lori- it happens!!

Did I mention how BIG that remote is BTW?? I need to post DIY instructions on how to change the battery on this pig- DAMN its large!!
