Probly depends alot on the color. Mine is black, that's much harder to keep looking nice as all the light scrapes show much more. I will try Mother's Clay Bar as soon as I get a chance to do it.

Bean - I have a Black PT too - Zaino'd about 2 weeks ago and have used enhancer after the last 3 or 4 washes and it shines!
Most of the dirt I've cleaned off is dust and pollen so I use a really small amount of dish liquid to wash the car, very mild. I am going to invest in the Zaino car wash and see how that works as I'm very impressed with their products so far. If its a thin clear coat you wouldn't know it. I think the main problem people have is that when they do get a chip, the white undercoat shows through. If Chrysler screwed up its in the color of the undercoats. They should have matched the color better. Pat |

PT Lady, If your finish is being marked by something, determin what is doing it and then don't do it any more. The finish is not soft however it can't stand up to dirty wash rags or dirty waxing cloths. Always be sure what you use is clean and what you use is soft. There are lots of things you can use, New cotten fabrics or I read on here somewhere about someone useing a micro-fiber of some sort, whatever works best for you and leaves a good, clean shine. Good luck. Colt

I haven't noticed that at all. My PT is 7 months old. I only use a "California Duster" on it and Eagles wipe and shine to get rid of the bug splats. Except for a couple of tiny rock chips, my paint is perfect. It has never been washed except at the dealer's on delivery.

Haven't had any problems with the paint on my Inferno Red. Have been applying Zaino and the color is really beautiful with a great shine. Just got the California Duster to keep it looking its best. Good luck and sorry to hear of your problem.
