Default I almost died !

First off, sorry about the header, but you will see why ! I hope it doesn't run to close to the poor person that lost his Mother. My condolences go out to their family....

I went to fill up the cruiser on my lunch hour today and didn't think twice about the price not being posted on the street sign.

Had about five dollars in it before I realized it said $1.88 per gallon for regular unleaded. My wife told me that a friend got a call from her dad that works in the upper management of a fuel company. He told her to go fill up NOW, it is going up probably 40 cents in the next few days.

That makes it hard to cruise, how much is the fuel running in your areas of the USA and abroad ?

YIKES! I just filled-up in Philly today for $1.34 per gallon. There are spots barely west of here that are going for $1.29.

I don't know whether to blame OPEC, or all those freakin' taxes that we have on each gallon!!!

Filled up yesterday for $1.28 a gallon at Exxon. Most stations around here are running $1.28 to $1.37, just depends on what side of town you are on.

I'm sure the oil companies raise the gas prices just before a weekend, or as is the case in a few days, just before a holiday. Well, DO they or DON'T they?

Gas is around 74 cents a litre in Vancouver at the moment.

As of yesterday, $1.69. It was all over the local news tonight that prices would be climbing again and to expect $2.00 before it was over. The news keeps blaming the Chicago refinery fire for our big jump in prices. Since the news tonight, the prices will probably be higher in the morning (and I'm sitting on an empty tank). Like KanCruiser said the other day....will probably do more polishing than cruising. }

In some areas gas prices have jumped as much as .80 a gallon in the past few days. Just in time for the long holiday weekend.
Sounds like its time for a massive boycott !!!

It is a case where the Oil Companies use every chance to raise the price of gas. You can't tell me that their cost fluctuates that much each week or each day. BULLSH***T. In times when the elected officials want to regulate everything where are they. They go after Microsoft and how bad were they hurting us. They only pi**ed off another software company. Microsoft was working alone. The Oil Companies are working together.
SORRY but you just hit on a subject that can get me going. nuff said. Boy I feel better, still being ripped off but I feel better.

There was no way I could get home from work last night without a fill-up... and it cost me $ 1.89 a gallon. [BP]

In my neighborhood, it's already at 1.69 and climbing I'm sure.

GAS-tly prices... blech.

20 bucks I could have used elsewhere

In many cases it is not the oil companies but the gas station owner...MOST stations these days are owned privately...now...the oil company sold him his load 1 week ago at a certain rate....prices have gone up all week..its the station owner raising his price and pocketing the excess...not to say oil companies are completely innocent, but...its supply and demand...no one complains about the price of milk sky rocketing or sneakers going for $150! Then theres the enviormentalists who want no drilling off the coast of Ca. or deep into Alaska's back country where no human has set in years...where do you expect the resources to come from??? And yes, prices do fluctuate THAT much day to day! Sorry had to vent...and yes,my husband does work for a big bad oil company...by the way...we pay the same prices at the pump as you do!
:/
