Default Home Again !!

After a week at the Kustom Shop -- My Silver Limited is home and " Lookinnnnnn Goooooood "
My new Xenon " Bruiser Kit " is painted and installed and I feel like I have a whole new car !! It looks great !!!!
I was disappointed when I picked it up and found that he did NOT paint my side mirrors. I had told him to. ! He said he would not put his name on it and didn't want to do it cause it wouldn't last !!
Any comments from you folks that have done this ????
Remember -- I'm in New England and the weather here generally SUX !!
Any way -- I am Thrrrrrrrrriiiiiilllllllllleeddddddddd !!
with the results. This shop specializes in Hot Rods from the Ground up and the owner is really picky about what leaves there !! " EGO ?? " A bit pricey but show quality !
It is rainy and foggy here but as soon as it clears I will post some pics !!!

Gotta' post pics! When you do, could you at least sound enthusiasitic? Would just have to cringe at another post from you that seems so unemotional and layed-back.

Have Fun!

WOW Pars! That sounds great!

Can hardly wait to see the pics... I'll touch up the mirror color using photoshop for much less than your paint artist would charge...

A buddy of mine had his mirrors painted, and within 3 weeks, he had blisters and chips (that is, the mirrors did). Paint shop did not sand off the rough surface. Now he's planning to replace them with chrome units from PTCruiserparts.com. They're currently on backorder, but might be a good alternative for the silver bruiser.

Pars
I painted the mirrors on my truck 3 1/2 years ago. Same process, sand smooth, primer, paint. With the exception of the self inflicted scratch I did myself. They look as good as the day they were painted. The only thing I can think of different is that I dont have the kind that collapse like the cruisers do. In the collapsing process, I could see how if the paint was fairly thick in that area it might chip.

Sounds cool Pars!
I've actually seen one Bruiser before. A dealer here in town (one of those that always has 8 or so on the lot) had one in the showroom once when I went over there to look at Cruiser colors.
This one was Inferno Red and it was pretty spiffy!
Can't wait to see those pics!
