I put one on my pt. I really like it. I don't get hot oil on me, or the driveway anymore.

...so what's the best way of removing the cartridge filter without oil sloshing out?

I put the pan under the filter and loosen it just enough to let the oil drain out. I just keep easing it out, then just turn it upside down on the basket of my drain pan.
