Well the local radio station told everybody in town that I had the flag download on my site.
Looks like about 300 or so people around town have downloaded it so far ! Should be a lot of red, white and blue. Especially this Saturday when the Fighting Illini play. They are asking everybody to wear red, white and blue to the game. So I will be watching it for sure ! It will be televised... |

Glad to see all the flags around! For those interested in such things, there are some basic rules for correctly displaying the flag. For flags hung vertically, the Union (Blue Field with Stars) belongs in the upper LEFT corner as you view the flag. It is also very incorrect to place text or other markings on the face of the flag. The important thing is to show the flag as a symbol of unity and support. With just a little effort it is possible to do this in accord with proper flag etiquette. If you wish to find out more about the proper display of Our Flag, visit www.usflag.org. and/or http://www.ushistory.org/betsy/flagetiq.html
