Here's what the flag holder parts look like. They're made from a coat hanger and some tubing. They secure using one of the fender liner screws. The short tail near the mounting loop goes through a small hole I drilled in the fender liner, it keeps the flag holder from turning on the screw when it's mounted. The coil is for the flag staff, I formed it around an 11/64" drill bit in a vise with some elbow grease. The tubing slips over the whole affair just to dress it up.

I was jealous of all the flags at the Falls so I was happy to finally find a set of the window-mount ones at K-Mart for a buck a piece. I also bought a patriotic "bow-tie" thingty for the front grill, similar to yours. I'm saving two for next year's Falls cruise!

Yikes! Those are a heckuva lot fancier than what *I* had in mind!
![]() Glad to get the idea about the tubing tho.. I was wondering what the heck I would use to make the wire 'scratch proof'! Thanks for the pics Dan ![]() I don't think I can coil the wire like that.. but I'll work something out.. ![]()

Rick,
Thanks for the pictures. I followed the same thing you did and it looked great for my PTC as well. I had a problem finding a hose big enough to accomidate the flag but I used a water hose for a washer for the time being until I can find something better. I also extended the inside of the hanger to go up to a join in the wheel well. I wasn't sure if I wanted to drill through the plastic so I went a little further up. I will post some pics tonight... Thanks again for the idea... ![]()
