Default Shine On

You know you're getting old when the music which was radical in your youth is used for an ice skating program at the Olympics

Egads... Pink Floyd! What comes next, the Grateful Dead? I can just see them twirling around from something from Aoxomoxoa

My wife an I (both "amateur" hippies in that era), looked at each other and smiled when it was announced and said "cool, this we gotta see". It was beautiful. I think it worked well.

The times have really changed haven't they? My 13 year old son even got excited when he heard some "Rob Zombie" music during an Olympic promotional ad.

By the way, the Salt Lake Ice Center is really the Delta Center where the Utah JAZZ play. They also hold other events there including music concerts.
The acoustics in the building for music are horrible!

I think you spelled "Aoxomoxoa" backwards. Great album - still have my old 8 track tape. I wouldn't be surprised if it still smells like reefer even after all these years!

Well, yeah I spelled it backwards -- only way I know how!
