UT thanks so much for displaying the pics...looks like the media agreed with me. The fireworks were awesome!! SLC is beautiful, so why Oregon??

Gotta rush dinner before the Olympics begin tonight....

UT, thanks for posting the beautiful pics. The fireworks certainly didn't show up on TV as well as in that picture.

I've been watching coverage on and off all day in between my weekend chores. You have a beautiful city and live in a gorgeous part of the country. Those mountains are awesome!

Thanks for posting the pics, I only caught bits & pieces of the opening ceremonies. I must say, I was impressed with President Bush's actions, he left a strong impression of confidence in the security surrounding the Olympics.

I liked the guy from Bermuda and all the athlets from countries like Nepal and Fidji. That actually is the olympic spirit.
