Don, I'm so glad everything went well and that he's on his way to a great recovery! Sounds like you have a very cool, strong little boy!

He's next to me now as I showed him this for first time - he loved it and we hugged. Thanks again, everyone.

I sincerely hope that his healing continues to progress and that he is running and playing to his heart's content this summer!

Keep up the good work Mom and Dad QS!

Whew, I'm so glad to read that things worked out that well and more good things are possible. I was afraid to speak up before and jink something. Good luck to you and yours. The good folks at PTE are with you in spirit, but you already knew that...

Glad all went well. How old is your son? Isn't it amazing how resilent they are -- stuff that would lay us up for days they just spring back from.

Re insurance , yeah, the companies tend to be out for the buck, but, better to have it than to not have it! We've been lucky with our coverage for our kids, largely due, I think, to a great pediatrician who doesn't question my observations. I know many people would have had to fight to get the coverage we've gotten for younger son, but his Dr. has been great about giving us the needed referrals -- Franki
