Default Boy, we were violent as kids...

I mean, just look at the toys we played with...

...yet we grew up law-abiding and with no Columbine incidents...

Makes you think.

I have a vintage 60's BB pistol with about 5000 rounds sitting in my basement. It still works!!

Yup, BB guns, pellets guns, back then--heck, I had the Mattel Shootin' Shell guns that fired real (plastic) bullets...

Maybe it's best to give kids an harmless (unless you got your eye shot out ) physical outlet for aggression rather than giving them electronic pablum.

I'm saying that the kids today (mine included) would be better off if we were allowed to give them a good old fashioned butt-whoopin (and not get in trouble with the law). And the principals should be allowed to do the same.

There-does that mean I was too violent as a child? No guns, but I did get a butt whoopin when I deserved it!!

When I was a kid we shot rats at the town dump almost every Saturday, now a kid has very little opportunity to learn how to shoot responsibly and respect firearms.

Too damn many liberals around trying to disarm us (so Their bodyguards will be the only ones with guns??)

Boo!!! Everyone who is not a felon should be allowed to own firearms!!! I do not have any, but I know several people who are avid hunters and fishermen and they are very responsible with their firearms and their kids take classes before they are allowed to own any. I have a problem with just anyone owning assault weapons-bambi don't need overkill. I believe that you should have to have additional training for responsible gun ownership of those-perhaps similar to the way the military trains with the same weaponry. Never take away someone's constitutional rights!! Big NO-NO!!!!

You'll shoot yer eye out!

I played 'Army' in the Black Forest. There's this big cement tank bunker just outside Manheim where the war-games were played. We didn't have so many cool toy guns so we used vintage surplus weapons that were inoperable or at least didn't have bullets.

GOTTALUVIT!
