If y'all can't keep political discussions civil and intelligent (i.e. refrain from disparaging the other side as a group or individuals you disagree with) - I will pull the plug on allowing political discussions in the Non-PT forum.

I would rather not do that since lively, intelligent political debate is such a hallmark of the Internet, the US, and free societies everywhere.

However, this is a PT Cruiser board and an argument can be made that there are plenty of other sites that are specifically tailored to lively political debate that might be better suited to this sort of thing.

I think that will actually be the problem with the show. Bush bashing jokes will only go so far in keeping an audiance. there also has to be substance about the issues in the shows to keep the audiance. Al Franking and Grafilo (sp?) don't have the "substance" to host a daily show. To succede, they have to be serious about issues, and thus far, they have demonstrated (prior to this show), that is something they lack.

Well, since I don't take limbaugh or O'Reilly seriously, I wouldn't be inclined to take Franken and Co. seriously, either.
