Default Re: Car guy needs help

I got a note from Dave at cruiser quarterly and this is the story of Jon-

Jon is a close friend of the business and family that seemed to always be helping us out somehow. He was always our muscle when we had to set-up for events and what not. He has moved me from house to house a couple of times now as well. He also worked as a one-man road crew for my band when we opened up for Al Jardine. Jon has also served as the company’s personal on-call mechanic for ages. Even though we have done our best to compensate him, all this time he has never asked for anything in return. It’s just the type of guy he is.

Jon was in an off-roading accident a couple of weeks ago that has left him paralyzed from the waist down, at least for now. His house is so not prepared for wheelchair access that it’s not even funny. His house is going to be retrofitted but it will take about 3 months or so to do. In the meantime he is going to be staying with my wife and me. Our house is not quite prepared either but nowhere near the level his is. At least ours is single-story.

So let's see if we can help out. The cruiser community has always been a great group.
