Since the UK men's basketball team got stomped in the NCAA tournament, I'm going to have to agree with you on that one this time.

Shoot, did ya hear the fire melted their crayons, too?

For my part, going into Gulf War 2, I compared Iraq with China. In my own observations-

No doubt that, the Chinese government answers students armed with pro-democracy signs with a column of tanks. Many of these students are still in forced labor 'camps' making toys for export to the U.S.A. No doubt that the once sovereign nation of Tibet was annexed by whatever force necessary. So we have a totalitarian regime that possess many weapons of mass destruction, enough to mass destroy all of us, is engaged in expansion by military means and supresses individual freedoms. Why not blow up Beijing? 'Cause they'd kick our cans! I've been critical of our public figures but at one point or another, I let go. How's that for fair and balanced?

Meanwhile, a person who registers and posts something, even if it's whining about non-PT content deserves a better welcome. Again, none of us were all that savvy to begin with.

Hey, all I did was explain about the NON-PT forums. I did not say go away-why pick on me???

I do not have to agree with anything going on in the gulf region and I can say so as much as I want in the NON-PT section. I am not the one getting offended and I am not taking this seriously-I just like to watch the reps trip over themselves defending bush-just like ducks following their mama-they follow that party line to a "T" and don't think for themselves-makes it fun for me. It doesn't take much to get them wound up-they JUMP to ole W's defense. I can't help it-I like cheap amusement.

Careful with that axe, Lisa,

I didn't intend to attribute the go-away remark to you but I could see how you'd take it that way. My bad.

"I just like to watch the reps trip over themselves."

Now that statement is yours and it's not nice to have fun at the expense of other cruisers. Pushing people's hot buttons for your entertainment, not as cool as you'd think.

"I can say so as much as I want in the NON-PT section"

You can also yell 'fire' in a crowded theatre? Fredom of speech comes with a responsibilty. Again, the lecture on this is provided as you log into the forums.

I could post the Drudge Report on here everyday, not just the home page but every link and pop-up but that doesn't mean I should. With the election seven months away, could we give it a rest? There are so many other outlets for poli-sci debates if you can't live without purposefully agitating other people.

Hmm, I guess people can not take a joke? I love'd it! Life is too short to be uptight all the time. Smile, laugh and bust a gut, it was a joke.

I agree completely. As we spend time here our skins thicken and we get used to the goings on, but that is no way to treat a newcomer.

Whoa! Someone agreed with me, I'm outie...

I really don't mind the jokes, I'd tell them if I knew any. I'll stick with the continuous complaining and cajoling, it's worked for me so far.

All in a day's cruise...

Yeah, and that just about ruined their plans for the new art gallery.

Hey-you know what they say about if "they can't take a joke". I can't help it republicans are so militant. I don't even care about politics-because they are all corrupt. I just like to play devils advocate. I give the democrats as much as I give the republicans, but the democrats seem better able to take a joke. You don't find 7 or 8 pages of them trying (in vain) to defend their candidate. Laid back can be a good sometimes whereas hyper kicks things up a notch. I can't help it that the republicans feel the need (and lord know they need to) to jump in for "their man" and the democrats just sit back and let it go over their head.
