Exclamation Re: I think it's "Goodbye" to a loyal friend....

Thanks All!
Rally Rock.... believe it or not, it IS a V6. LOL. Just modified nicely (minorly) . I think the hardest part beyond losing the car itself is losing the genuine Bullit wheels I got for it last year. What a bummer. Oh well, I pried one of the wheel caps off & one of the Pony badges from the smashed quarter panel. Hard to believe that may be all that's left of our "Musty".
JoeM- I think he'd consider the Ram. We tossed around Durango, Ram pick-up ( extended cab), going back to our beloved Trans Ams....but when his brother heard last night he approached us about buying his truck. He mentioned wanting to sell about a year ago & the price is VERY good. We've lusted after it for awhile now, so Tim is heavily considering it. It's a 2001 Chevy Z71 4 door cab California Custom 4x4. It's got a SC & 8 inch lift , alloys & toys galore. Cutomized all under factory warranty, which it's still under.
He'll sell for the loan balance & we'd be getting a steal!! And, also be helping a family member pull himself out of debt after the stock market dive too. So- that just may well become the new toy. What a pair the PT & this behemoth will be parked outside! A couple of weeks ago I noted that the trucks front bumper alingned just about the top of my head while sitting in the PT. It'd be "The Odd Couple" all over again.
