We went after Bin Laden first. It is a shame that we don't have the luxury to disptach one terror threat before engaging another.

I don't recall a terror threat coming from Iraq-only bush's insistence that they invent one. Any WMDs found, yet???

I've asked this before and never got an answer so I'll try again.

Why did bill clinton say, on a cable tv interview in Oct. 2003,
(just a few months ago)

that based on his time in the White House and the access to privaleged information that he had, he was ABSOLUTELY CONVINCED, that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction until the end of the Saddam regime ? ? That's--- "ASSOLUTELY CONVINCED".

BILL CLINTON SAID IT !

If Bush is a liar about the weapons, so is clinton, RIGHT ?

Why do you keep insisting that there are/were no WMD's
Bush AND clinton BOTH, said there were.
What do you know, that they don't ?

They may still be there. They may have been moved to Syria.

If I hid 5, 55 gallon drums of toxin in Oregon and gave you 100,000 people to find them, could you ?

Maybe what the Republicans should do is ask clinton to confirm his statements. Then the left just have to drop the whole issue.

They really get cranky if you tell them (truthfully) that daddy is the only reason he was DETERMINED to make 9/11 Iraq's fault.
It's like a Democrat-Style O'Reilly Factor with you. You're argument that he's a coked-up boozehound in full cowboy regalia firing into the air yelling yee-haw! while he gallops through the Whitehouse on a broomstick horsie holds water like a sieve so now the problem is that he's his Father's mindless puppet? While I'm sure he did seek his Father's counsel about how we should react you think that's a bad thing? It seems pretty reasonable to me to ask your Father for advice if he had also been the freakin' President. He may have a little insight into the situation.

I'm waiting for the "He's just trying to make up for his Father's unfinished business." argument but of course if George Sr. had pushed on and removed Saddam back in Desert Shield/Storm you'd have found a reason to take exception with that too I'm sure.

Small price to pay for giving a country back to its people.

I'm comfortable with my government taking a proactive stance against terrorism and the countries that encourage/flourish from it. You can take a seat next to France and Germany and the rest of the dullards and wait for the bombs to start going off in your train stations before you decide to take an interest in a GLOBAL threat if you like but I'll be damned if I will.

Wow. You aren't just misinformed... You're completely ignorant of the situation. Commonsense has eluded you.

Your post reminded me,
To show his respect for the place,
President Reagan NEVER removed his coat when he was in the Oval Office.

I remember my reaction when I first saw clinton there in overalls.

Times sure change

Ah yes the priorities of the right. Ok to trade guns to terrorists for the release of hostages, but better not be casual about it.

I'd like to see the reference on this one & read the entire quote. Believing there were wmd & convincing the country that we were in danger of immediate attack (the big lie) in order to make a pre-emptive attack (remember Pearl Harbor) are somewhat different. Dubya lied to everyone & even some Democrats in congress believed him. Bush is a liar.. & it's proven almost daily.

And if Clinton wasn't a spoiled kid who got off scott-free after stenuously avoiding the draft...then you have the straightest chrome luggage rack ever issued.
Just because I felt that (in relative terms) clinton was the Lesser of 2 evils, don't mistake that for being pro clinton or pro democrat. The reason bush gets bashed is because he deserves it. And by the way, I don't think that spoiled "kids" avoid the draft-that would be adults (as in men over the age of 18). Not that most men grow up before 40, but they sign up for the military 22 years before that.

What are you gonna say about those politicians in 10 years or so that never even had the chance to be drafted (because there was none). I suppose if they are republican they are fit for office, but if they are democrats they have "avoided military service". How hypocritical. Face it-neither bush nor clinton served in the military (the national guard is not the ARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE, or MARINES). Play all you want that bush was there-until I see a picture of him actually DOING something while he was "in the service" I won't believe he served honorably.

Oh and you think ole bush in overalls is the dignity the office deserves? Rather have a frat house than a barn!

And if your father screwed it up the first time-why not ask him how to screw it up the second time!! I would rather he took out saddam when he had the chance, but he didn't so sonny spanked him for daddy.

Glad 600 lives are a SMALL price to you-glad one of them wasn't yours or we wouldn't be chatting.

Glad you have all of the answers. Mis-informed as they are. Common sense has NOTHING to do with politics-what rock did you crawl out from under? When has politics had anything to do with common sense-never in my lifetime!!!
