Default Ssr

Stopped buy the Chevy dealer today. They just got in a SSR and
I wanted to see it up close. Cool truck ,but 49,900 puts it out of my
price range.

Can't figure out why GM would build and sell such a truck for that price instead of redesigning the Camaro and Firebird.

DAMN!! Don't feel like the Lone Ranger. That kind of pricing is going to put it out of the price range of many.

I sat in one today too, sweet! Black one had the top down in the showroom, it was there so I hopped in. Sure looks alot better in person. Can't touch the Cruiser for utility though.

The SSR is not about utility and it is not intended to reach but a few in regards to price range. Most of us buying them are former corvette owners or car buffs. Unfortunately, many are just keeping them in their garages as an "Investment". Imagine that, buying a car as an investment! I don't believe in cars as investments, that is a poor choice unless it is a timeless classic and this baby will have to wait at least 25 years for that to happen. I raced mine in autocross and had a ball and plan on doing a lot more of that. I wish I could take all of you for a run (and I have taken many) but that would be hard to do. I am trying to share my SSr with as many as possible so those that can't afford one can at least have a thrill ride in one. The build quality on this vehicle puts it up there with the 70K and 80K retractable models in my opinion and the price is fair considering what you get. It is totally impractical (although I have hauled bags of mulch and plants in it) but is somewhat configurable. The tonu lid lifts off for tall stuff and can be put in the garage while doing that sort of thing.

I love the look of that truck just thought the Camaro and Firebird were such a popular nameplate for GM. Not knocking the SSR are at all; I'd love to have one.

Hmmm.... an SSR or for a few dollars more an SRT-10 Viper Powered Dodge Ram. Damn that would be a hard choice
