And how is it that you know so surely that i didn't???? Be careful what you type unless you know what the facts are....my heart is not frozen, it is angry...angry that people pay lip service to honoring those you died in those towers, yet snipe and complain about the war on terror.
You DO NOT know what i lost....

Joe, you can either believe me or not. I object to using images of 9/11 for the reasons stated. I have NO hidden agenda. I would have objected to a dem using them as well.

It has nothing to do with anything else.

To me, it's a very sad commentary as to where we are as a people when we cannot believe any objection is due to anything but a wish to spare the victim's families more pain. And that our standards have sunk so low as to refuse to acknowledge that it might actually cause them pain. You really refuse to admit it could???? I find that incredible. I'll leave off the debate then. We are worlds apart. We are very different people.

I think it is tacky, but aren't all political campaigns tacky? I object to it for the sake of the families, but politicians will be politicians and I think that the majority of the survivors probably expected it-even if they don't like it.

Hi Dreamer,
I guess my problem is I smell a skunk in every woodpile.

I started to do some checking for my own satisfaction, but it got way too complicated and time consuming.
Maybe someone else would like to follow the tracks.

What I did come up with is the "offended of 9/11" belong to a group called "Peaceful Tomorrows"

www.peacefultomorrows.org/

which is largely funded by Teresa Heinz Kerry
via the Tides Center of Pennsylvania which is a creation of, The Tides Foundation and Center in San Francisco and two Pennsylvania based foundations, chaired by Teresa Heinz Kerry who ALSO, contribute to moveon.org, an organization who's main ambition is to get George Bush out of office.

If you think putting the jigsaw puzzle of the various foundations and individuals together so it makes sense is complicated, wait till you get to the part about where the money comes from, where it goes 3 or 4 times before it gets contributed and who's on the list of recipients.

The people who contribute, want to remain anonymous and when you see who they contribute to, you'll see why.

This is the kind of thing I like to follow through with, but it's just too much for me

I said I don't see the offense, and that's my take on it. I didn't say you didn't or other people didn't take offense. Don't take this so personally. To run on your record for the highest job in the land and not to reference the major event that largely shaped both your foreign and domestic policy is incomprehensible to me. I'm pretty certain that the folks behind the commercials didn't mean any offense as well.

I noticed that when these family members of 9-11 victims were talking in the media, they all seemed to be saying the same thing. Almost word for word. I think i now know why.
They are all members of a group called "September 11th families for peaceful tomorrows". If you check out their website www.peacefultomoworrows.org you will see most of the main page devoted to slamming GWB. What's even more telling is the information that is in their contributors page
http://www.peacefultomorrows.org/contribute.html
It says.."Peaceful Tomorrows is a project of the Tides Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization."

The Tides center was created from an endowment from a foundation called the Howard Heinz endowment....which is chaired by Teresa Heinz Kerry.

And tangled up in the facts of WHO the Tides foundation contributes to, you'll find---- moveon.org.
AND since moveon's prime objective is the defeat of President Bush, I would bet the tides foundations contributions to moveon are illegal.
AND, if that's the case what does it say about Mr. Kerry.

Out of all the people effected by 9-11, it stands to reason SOME want Bush out of office and are willing to use the events of 9-11 to try to accomplish that.

There may be people truly offended by the Bush ads, but unfortunately the events of 9-11 are part of our history and the Presidents response to the tragedy are also part of that history just like Vietnam, Pearl Harbour, ect.
