Wait till the American people get a little better understanding of Mr. Kerry, his post Vienam antics and his voting record

I hope we capture him alive. Why should we kill the man when he wants to die for his cause? Why give him the pleasure of becoming a martyr? I say lock him up in a place where shadows never fall.

I agree Lisa. Just wait until the time is right (politically) and we will see his arrest.

I have two theories. #1 is that we already have him and we don't want to make a martyr out of him. Whoever said getting him won't end things is 100% correct. There are too many crazies out there, someone else will take over after he is caught or killed. We are being very foolish if we think his demise ends things and he has not made plans for that day.
#2 is that we know where he is (new reports say we are close, whatever that means) perhaps this capture/kill will be used as a political leverage for the election.
I hope we find him and contain him. Let him think he is active and then undermine and deter his plots. Why give his followers, whose numbers we are not sure of, a reason to hate us more?
Pat

bin laden works on the theory of General George S Patton used with one small variant...

Patton believed that you made somebody else die for his country...

bin laden believes that people should die for and in place of him...

all that noise that saddam made about fighting untill the death...

his sons went out that way, guns blazing...

but he was found, dirty, cowering in a hole, 2 loaded weapons in his possession and enough money to escape and live cormfortably on...

he just never found the chance to escape...

why didn't he come charging out of concealment, ala Rambo...

because he is, and always was, a coward...

Default Why do so many in Middle East follow him?

This question/ comment is bit off-topic (but not political, either). Why can't the people fighting WITH Osama see what B.S. his talk is? He says his "fellow believers" should die as martyrs, but he runs like a bloody coward. Haven't they noticed this yet??? That he's the only one not "walking the talk?"

At any rate, I think we don't have him yet because of the sympathizers in the Middle East, and all the places he can hide. Who knows if the reports of his whereabouts are true. I agree that if we continue to be patient and diligent in our search, the little bugger will be found and brought to justice.

PTRobert have you ever heard the word "cult" ??? Same thing applies here. Basically life's misfits and he gives them a cause. I'd bet they don't realize what he is doing, that's part of his game, not letting the player's know the game until it's showtime.
