I just heard on the news today that President Bush authorized the release of "ALL records" pertaining to his service in the Air Guard.
At least 400 more pages.

I wonder-------is it possible-------- that President Bush held onto some of the records, just long enough, to allow the democrats to work themselves up into a foaming at the mouth frenzy and just before Ted K. turned the final shade of purple,---- THEN, THEN,

At just the right moment, release the records that he knew would vindicate him, so the nation could watch the democrats crash and burn.

They have been released. As I type this, reporters in Washington have in hand over 400 pages of his records.

Documents are good (if genuine..remember the forged nuke documents that dubya used to try & justify his invasion? Can you ever trust a guy who's a known liar?) but witnesses would be better. Funny that NO ONE remembers seeing him during the period in question. Not even his commanding officers.

Actually, a witness has stepped foward. I didn't post the link to the story because it would be a waste of time (you know, "I wonder how much he was paid" and so on). If I believed that any doubter might actually accept the story, I would post it, but I have yet to see anything that would indicate it would be worth while to post.

Well today,
MSNBC reported, that a Bill Calhoun, Lieutenant Colonel at Dannelly Air Base in Alabama at the time, came forward today and said he remembered George Bush showing up for drills on at least six occasions. They had lunch together a number of times.

From L.C. Bill Calhoun,
"He (Bush) showed up on time and left at the end of the day."

Tiak, do you honestly believe YOUR base commander would remember YOU thirty years later?

He might if my father was a congressman.

In 1994, dubya told the Houston Chronicle, in relation to his joining the National Guard, "I was not prepared to shoot my eardrum out with a shotgun in order to get a deferment, nor was I willing to go to Canada, so I chose to better myself by learning how to fly airplanes." It sounds like dubya, himself, acknowledged that he went into the National Guard because he didn't want to go to Vietnam.

Then again, he might not. Nothing like no evidence becoming evidence. Guess I'll have to try to recall all the reservists and IMAs who passed though my Headquarters Squadron in case they ever run for office.

Good point JOEM. My grandfater's military records were destroyed in a warehouse fire. Since there is no paperwork to back it up, does that mean that my grandfather didn't serve in the Army Air Corps during WWII?
