At least Bush showed up for duty. Clinton was the first pardoned felon to serve as President of the U.S.; he elected to simply not show up. He was pardoned by Carter.

Why assume that he is saying anything positive about clinton just because he is saying something negative about bush?? Did he mention clinton? That is what I do not understand. If you point out the stuff that one party is doing wrong, all of the sudden you are FOR the other party. I can point out numerous things clinton did wrong, but that does not mean I am FOR bush. I can point out several things bush has done wrong and that does not mean I am/was FOR clinton. Wrong is wrong no matter what party. Are you just trying to see who out wronged whom?? They are both wrong!

I can only assume the word "folks" would include bill clinton and if so, how can anyone logically be so highly upset and offended by what George Bush did, but never express the same feelings about what clinton did.
For me it is not about parties.
It's about two men.
One just happens to be a democrat and one a Republican.

But, I could be wrong. Maybe he feels the same resentment and anger toward clinton as he does Bush.

He's been very vocal about how he feels about Bush on the subject.

Where has he shown the same indignation toward clinton for doing basically the same thing ?

If the balance isn't there, I think you can safely make some assumptions.

I was going by what he said in the post that was quoted. Which did not mention clinton. Since bush was the topic of the thread, I would be expecting either the militant bush defenders here or the militant bush detractors. I don't see where clinton has a thing to do with it-the topic is about bush. If you need clinton to compare him to-by all means do it. Black is black and evil is evil and there is nothing white or good showing up for either of them.

blah blah blah, he way honorably discharged, if he hadnt done what he was suppposed to do, he wouldnt have been honorably discharged. those are the facts. Unless of course the guy who ok'ed the honorable discharge was a republican, then he was probably misleading everybody into thinking bush did what he was supposed to do.(joke)
