Default Anyone watch Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show?(not do you like it-did you watch)

I am so happy! My puppy's grandfather repeated as group winner in the Non-Sporting Group! Ch. Ale-Kai Mikimoto On Fifth. So happy to see breeder/handler Wendell Sammit (a wonderful man-he is awesome-even a WWII P.O.W.!!!) and his beautiful dog Miki. Miki's daughter (Ch. Dassin Ale-Kai Gem On Fifth) took breed at the AKC Eucanuba Championships a few weeks ago. Wonderful bloodline and healthy SOUND animals. So Happy today!!! Can't wait for tonight-GO MIKI!!!!!!

Congrats.... I took a Westie to an AKC and International Championship but did not go on to Westminster. My daughters labs are the daughters of the Crufts winner! It is all great fun!

That was an awesome show! Miki did not win BIS, but that is fine-repeats as group winner at Westminster are cool! He is now retired. I was also impressed with the Newfoundland-Josh is a great dog! He really moved well. There were a ton of familiar faces in the ring for BIS. I had to cheer for my breed, but thought all of the other breeds in there were EXCELLENT.

Congrats to the wonderful working breed winner-Josh the Newfie!!!

Thanks for the heads up...checked USA & they replayed last nights show today. Maggie & I watched it...she barked when 'Josh' did...I think that's why he won. the audience when crazy when he started barking. Newfies hardly ever win even their group so I kinda dont watch the shows much ...hope this win doesn't start a bunch of Newfy puppy mills...

What, was Chris Matthews a rerun?

I am glad to see a side of you that isn't political all the time.

I watch it every year. I have to watch the first night of it for the Toy group because I have Pugs and the Non-Sporting group because I have a Bulldog. I was so glad to see the Newfie win and not the Standard Poodle, I just hate the haircut on the Poodle and besides that they always seem to win.
